Does the timer work in a background tab?
The countdown is calculated from its end time and catches up when you return. Browsers may delay sound in background tabs. A closed browser or sleeping device cannot reliably play an alarm. Do not use this as a safety-critical alarm.
Are my settings saved?
Language, appearance, valid timer durations and sound settings are saved automatically in this browser, not on a server. Use “Local settings” to delete them. A running timer is not restored after a reload.
Is it free and private?
There is no account and the timer loads no ads, browser-side analytics or external fonts. The hosting processes technical access data. Details are available in our privacy notice.
